Kasmir 6 year old Angry Bird Birthday Parties

Kasmir 6 Year <3

This year we celebrated Kasmir`s birthday parties with the Angry Birds - theme.

We decorated our home with Angry Bird - stuff. . There were crafted things but i also ordered party banner at the internet.

Since Kasmir`s first birthdays, his godmother and aunt, had come to our place craft something on Kasmir`s upcoming parties. Its a tradition now, and we started to talk about it right at the beginning of the year. Lovely memories together and time with aunt.

While these two crafted decorations, i made a pancake. And we ate almost everything.


Saturday monrning after Niki`s baby swimming class i finished the cake and we decorated our house with craftings and "Happy Birthday" - party banner.  The cake and tableclotch also fit the theme.

Kasmir made angry mouths. 

The cake was red Angry Bird. I tried to find an eatable picture top of the cake. But i couldn`t find it anywhere. Not internet, or grocery store. This is obviously a popluar theme. Cake had Whipped Cream- Vanilla Cake Mousse- Mango - Lemon Filling.

There were also a chocolate ice cream for kids.

I searched pictures at Angry Bird - Cakes from Google.  It seems as they were easy to do, But its not. Not for me. :D . But i think that the cake was identifiable to who it was. And Kasmir said it was really great. So it was good enough.

Kasmir and Catsu crafted on wednesday little Angry Birds- faces and we put them into the table. Bigger faces we put on the front door and the living room windows.

Birthday weekend is over, and Kasmir had lots of new presents, lots of nice memories and he is very happy. Mum is very happy and grateful to everyone who came to make the birthday boy a happy weekend. =) <3

Valentines Days

It was Valentines Day 2015, my friends came to my home and i baked little lovepastries and i made also special coffees. Like "lattes" or chocolate almond coffees. I first pour coffee bottom of the long glass and then the almond milk that i have boiled little first.  That`s how i made the milky coffee. I warm the almond milk and chocolate drink at the kettle,and  then i pour it to the cup. That was chocolate almond milk coffee.

When it was Valentines Day at year 2016. i made chocolate love mouffins`s and  hot chocolate drinks with mint chocolate.. I invited my friends to come drink cup of coffee to my home, couple of days before Valentines Day. I melted mint chocolate at the kettle and pour hot chocolate in there. Chocolate mouffins`s was a regular chocolate mouffins`s . I tried to made homemade "suukkoja" but those didin`t really succeed. :D I still haven`t tried doing them again. but someday im going to try to make them again. Someday they have to be good. :D :D  Chocolate mouffins`s were easier to made and i was deffinately sure that they wont dissapoint me. Kasmir helped me to decorate them with little pink hearts. :) My lovely friend Kristiina had make me a lovely present. She bring me a glass jar filled with little heart shaped candies and handmade card. <3  I also served heart shaped marshmallows. <3 <3 

At valentines Day 2017, Kristiina made also a present for me. A small jar made of glass with a small candle inside.  I didnt bake anything then,  i bought swiss roll at the grocery store. It was enough. I think more important was that my friends came to visit. 

2018 i baked chocolate cake.  I baked it night before Valentines Day. Next day when i left at school and picked Kasmir at the day care -center, we get home, and i stuffed the cake and decorated it with Strawberryshaped marshmallows and lovely other candies that i had bought at the grocery store.

Valentines Day 2019  i had a cup of coffee with Kristiina and i have made vegan chocolate pancake for us. 

Friday was Valentines Day again at this year.  My friends came over for coffee 

This year i made mudcake-cake.. I have seen somewhere a picture of stuffed mud cake, filled with mango and chocolate banana- foam between two mudcakes.

I thought it would be delicious if i put raspberry between chocolate cakes. And the raspberries pink colour is perfect for Valentine`s Day. 

And the cake was super delicious.

I decorate cake with little chocolate biscuit donuts and pink meringues. Cake looked very mysterious :D But it was delicious. <3

Mudcake- Cake

Mud Cake 

150g butter

150 g Dark Chocolate

50g Milk Chocolate 

1,5 dl Sugar

3 eggs

3,5 dl wheat flour 

0,5 tl baking powder

Raspberry Filling

200g raspberries

200g cream cheese

4dl cream 

(sugar how much you want)

Mash raspberries. Whip cream and add cream cheese. Mix it with raspberry puree, add sugar if you want. I put just couple of spoons sugar on filling and it was very delicious together with super chocolataty chocolate cake, because it was a bit sour.

Christmas 2014. My Pink Christmas Tree

We spent our first christmas together when it was christmas 2014. I remember how i found pink christmas tree and perfect decorations on it. Cupcakes and glitter heels. <3 It could be a little bigger, but it was pink, so it was enough. :) Besides, it was big enough at our that apartment. I always remember our chrismtas 2014, Kasmir was 10-month-old, i make blanket mountain on the living room floor. I cooked rice porridge and suddenly i noticed that baby had fallen asleep. We had same tree at 2015, then Kasmir was little big bigger so we decorated it together. Kasmir got then hes first own little black christmas tree and bright sstar lights next to his bed.

Kasmir`s little christmas world on his own room december 2018

At December 2018 was first christmas in our new home. I bought new big christmas stars. The smallest one was on the kitchen window. 2 bigger one at the living room windows. I move the little red star this year at Kasmir`s room. It`s Kasmir``s own christmas star now. He put it every christmas now on his window. Kitchen window i bought big black star and new red candelabrum. And same lights as last year on the terrace. Its so nice when there is some light on this darkness.

Kasmir wanted ice hockey chocolate advent calendar on this year. Last year he had kinder calendar. Every time when car drives part his window that the people in that car must be admired the star on his window. 

Today Kasmir decorated his own little black christmas tree. 

Kasmir`s own christmas tree.

This year we get real tree and decorated it together. I have to bought some christmas tree decorations more. Its so christmassy when you have a real green tree at your living room. We decorated and lights on it too. I wonder what my cats Dakota and Olavi must think about big tree on their house. Maybe the tree and its decorations fall to the ground when the cats jumped on its branches. 

Kasmir Art autumn 2019

In November- December 2019 we had art club with Kasmir at thursdays. i think its good that we had a thing in common in the mornings before nursery school and school. Of course you can craft at home too, but its a special thing when you went together somewhere in the morning and doing something funny together that mommy had not planned. And we can talk about later together to our hobby.

Since Kasmir was a baby we had been together at  different art clubs. For example, it has been painted in different colors using a paintbrush but also with a  ice hockey puck. Couple of years ago Kasmir made own bag and a pillowcase. It has been a couple of times that we had not register at for autumn groups for example, and then i was in school so we are not could go on weekdays mornings. This fall we get the craft club again.

First the "yeacher" at the craft club tells a story about something, and then kids craft and paint. Yhe idea is same to all , for example everybody is supposed to make a "cats birthday cake" but everybody decide which colour they use and how much they use everything to decorated it. I like that we do something together. And kids have to use their imagination. Its nice to see what Kasmir created.

Today 12.12.2019 was our last time at the craft club. Kasmir made christmas decorations and decorated them with buttons and he watched how different colours turn into other colours when they mixed. Im glad that i had take so many photos of our craft mornings by years. They are nice memories =)
