Christmas Concert

This monday Kasmir had a  Christmas Concert with his choir. He started to sing at the children`s choir at this august 2019. He has been at the babies and toddlers music school for 3,5 years before (Music school for small children where they learn the basics of music by playing) At first you go there with your parent, but then slowly by themselves. Kasmir had sung with the music school before in last december 2018 front pf the audience. (previous performances were with a parent) and this autumn at the children`s fair.

Kasmir had white shirt on his suit, new black corduroy trousers, little black silky jacket, red bow, and new shoes that came in the mail. Kasmir also wanted to put on his black hat, which he always wears at all parties and other occasions. For example, one day he wanted to put his black hat when we were going to listen a children`s concert. 

This shoes are awesome <3 !

One Summer Day At July 2019

Suddenly came a cold winter. Of course it was expected. :D But i think that this autumn was shorter than last year, and the cold came earlier. It takes a while to get used to this. That this cold and dark lasts many months again. Just because of that i suddenly started to remember couple of warm summer days at year 2019. One happening that especially came to my mind, was my good friends wedding, and then were a reaaaally hot hot summer day! And another memory of last summer was our trip to Ykspihlaja to spend time with Nikis godmother Jenna.

One especially summer memory was our summer trip to Kalajoki with kids and Aleksi. Especially i liked there that when we got out with baby at six am in the summer morning. I walked throught the forests and the baby slept in the prams. =) Then wasn`t warm at all, but its very nice walk at the places that you rarely spend time.

But that day, what came to my mind, was that when we went to have summer day with Jenna. That day was a normal sunday, and that sunday`s noon while Niki slept naps, i decided to go outside and drink cup of coffee, listening to music and breathing the sunshine. At some point baby woke up, we ate food, and i put everything ready that we can go out. We walked  all the way to Ykspihlaja. It was hot weather!!

Niki slept at the proms almost whole time. Jenna was wating for us when we get there. We decided to have a coffee at the Saha. It`s a most interested coffeehouse at our town. We been there before too, eating bakings and having coffee. There were kids swimming with their parents, but this time we stayed at the lawn, although Niki did go swimming many times in the summer.

When we had couple of coffee cups we decided to get pizza and visited to outdoor flea market. <3

 Niki slept in the shade around the corner of the pizzeria, so we had time to chit-chat and eat pizza. Over an hour we sat tin the sun and enjoyed the sun. We probably drank a hundred liters of water. :D 

We don`t have to walk back home, we went by car. 

It was such a lovely day <3 

Halloween 2019

We had Halloween costume party with Kasmir again on this autumn. The day before, we went shopping decorations to our parties. We found white tableclotch at fleamarket and decorations to Clas Ohlson. I baked carrot cake, apple pie, and liquorice cheesecake -baked good -somethings. :D They tasted good, but they looked weird. :D very weird actually. :D But maybe just because of that, they were perfect to Halloween!

At Saturday morning and noon we decorated our home with balloons, spider webs and we made bloody hand prints at the tableclotch with fake blood.

Kasmir `s costume on this year was dead man. he had black robe with silver tied belt. He looked pretty scary. Niki was the worlds cutest chili pepper. :D Its too funny to dress your baby as a vegetable. :D <3 I was doll this year. I had long white t-shirt dress, striped tights and extra super blatant blush. :D We orderesd Kasmir`s costume at the internet and he chose it there when we looked the options at the shop. At the babies costume page i saw chili pepper costume. 

We had time ate a little snack before the first guests arrived. 

Carrot cake was delicious <3 I have thought many times that i should make carrot cake in circular shape, and now i make it look like a pie. Taste was as good as always. Carrot cake and quark buns is deffinately best baked good that i know. <3 There were also cauliflower and paprika that could be dipped. Even though potato chips are the best, i like very much dip vegetables. But the lighter option is very nice sometimes. =) 

When skeletons and other guests left, i made liquoice chocolate drinks in our new skull glasses. Catarina , my sister send me recipe at this delicious drinks, but i made some own changes on it. For example, i left muscovado syrup out of it.

Liquorice Chocolate Drink

6 dl Oat Milk

 (You can do drinks whatever milk you want,= normal milk, soya milk, oat milk...) 

1 bar of Fazer London Caramel Chocolate

2 spoons dark chocolate powder 

Liquorice sauce 

Decorate:

Vanilla sauce 

Little marshmallows

Pour the oat milk into the kettle and heat it slowly. Chop the chocolate bar into the milk Melt the chocolate slowly in the milk and stir occasionally. Add the cocoa powder to the chocolate milk, and liquorice sauce. When all the chocolate has melted into the milk, oat milk is chocolate coloured and it has boiled, the hot drink is ready. Pour drink into the glasses. Whisk vanilla sauce on top of the drinks and a little bit of liquorice sauce. Drop the little marshmallows. You can use whipped cream instead of vanilla sauce. Neither of us dont like whipped cream, so i put vanilla sauce into this drinks. 

I got nice pictures of our parties. We could show them to baby when he grow up. I ate so much cakes, pizza, chocolate and everything on weekend, so that it `s only good that i got dance classes at week. :D 

Baby`s Own Art

"Colour bath" is baby`s own art. Baby could get to know all the colors and paint when theres safe materials on the paper. Like dessert cream and others...

Kasmir liked very much doing this painting, when he was a baby. First he painted on his feet and then with his hands. Then he get lying on the paper and everything on it. :D

Today was supposed to start this art thing with Niki on childrens art school. But there were not enough babies that it could have started. It was annoying, but then we decided to do it on our own. We had color chancing lamps and Kasmir had soap bubbles. 

So, we did the same things as in the Kasmir`s art course and  I found on internet also more ideas how others had done this kind of painting at home with kids. First i dropped on paper blueberry mash, then cold blueberries, potato flour and warm blueberry dessert cream.

I think next time we try paint on yellow things like mango cubes and oranges. Niki could also tried paint on his feet. =) 

Baby`s First Parties

Baby become 6 month old in this week! So its means first "birthday parties". When Kasmir was baby, and become 6 month old, i had first birhtday parties for him too, so now its Niki`s turn. The day before saturday we get everything that we need for baking.

Kasmir made blueperry muffins at his little brothers parties. :) I thought I would do so in the future, that both of my boys could bake something in others parties. =)

They were good and very blueberryish. x) 

I bake a cake for the party. It was filled with cream, strawberry jam, and banana pieces. I cheated on cake makeing, because i bought a ready cake base from the store. :D

I was not happy with the shape and height of the cake, but i havent got time make more cake in the oven, so when we went to do some finally shopping before baby swimming class, i bought ready cake base. I make them shape and height at the cake. It looks exactly like that at home baker done it quicly. :D But it was colourful. :) 

I also made paprika cheese muffins. The original recipe had spinach and red onion, but i don`t put them into these muffins. Those were good and i deffinately make them again.

The parties was nice and the baby was awake too almost all the time. 

There were also dog at the party. Our older cat goes somewhere hiding during the party. :D It was so nice to see all those who was here and i took lots of photos. They are wonderful memories and when Niki gets older, he could see those photos too. (:
