Kasmir Halloween

We have spent Halloween every year. First just together, me and Kasmir.
 I made Halloween themed pastries and cakes just two of us.

But when Kasmir was 3 - year- old we have a Halloween - costume party. Friends come to visit and everybody put on some kind of fun clothes. I baked a bloody cream cake, where i splash the red food color, to make it look like a blood. I made "ghost forest -cheesecake". It was a fudge cheesecake, where i made "ghost meringues" .= White meringue, where i put eyes on dark chocolate. Trees in the forest came from the branches of grapes. I also made chocolate muffins. Muffins were decorated on salty liquorice skull candies.

  First year Kasmir was bat, when he was 1- year old, he was worlds cutest pumpkin. 2- year old, he was little devil and we covered jack-o` -lantern to our balcony.  He dressed up as a clown when he was 3 -year-old and last year 2018, he was vampire.

Autumn 2018, There were chips at the party, and salty liquorice - white chocolate- cheesecake. The Table was decorated with skull candles. And there were ceramic pumpkin lanterns on the terrace.

October 2018, Kasmir take part in the dressing competition at Tietomaa. Its science center in the Oulu. There was an event called Ällöween. The competition had its own competition series for children of different ages. The judges first chose those who reached the finals. The winner was chosen by shouting. Kasmir reached the top five in the finals. Although Kasmir did not win, getting to the top five chosen by the judges, was a winning enough. Every finalist was done a 3 D- character. The link was later sent to the email. There was able to see the character.

  It was friday 5 o`clock  at night when we left to the Oulu, 2.11.2018. and i had the time to finish our own halloween cake, (which i had started doing last night.). before we left to the bus station.  It was orange- cheesecake with a liquorice frosting. On top of the liquorice, I made a spider web of sugar  and silver balls.

Kasmir`s 5 year Joker Birthday

Kasmir, My son had his 5 year old birthday at February 21. We celebrate them with a Joker Theme.

It was very difficult to create that theme. We made green, black and white cardboard letters, and make sentences "Why so serious?"   Kasmir`s godmother made Jokers face out of white paper. The green hair and all. We buy playing cards and Kasmir hid them in different places and birthday guests tried to find them. 

The cake was banana-chocolate- caramel cake, and i covered it on white fondant, where i painted Joker`s face with a food paint brush. 

Kasmir was very excited to get dressed as a Joker. 

The official birthday morning starts at 8 o clock, when Kasmir woke up and and i took him to the kindergarten. During the weekend we celebrated.

I had a vision that i  could also make a cheesecake for the weekends party. It supposed to be blueberry - lime - cheesecake, in jokers colours, green and violet... but it didn`t become what i wanted. I tried to take the cake out of the cake tin, but the cake didn`t stay together. So the cheesecake was not served. :D :D 

Disney On Ice 2019

February 2019, we were with my son Kasmir at Helsinki, Hartwall Arena. There were Disney On Ice - show. Our adventure was a gift to him, because he had his 5 year-old- birthday on that month.

Our train leaves a little before 8 `o` clock to Helsinki. When we were arrived to Helsinki we went ice skating, at  Jääpuisto. Helsinki is absolutely exciting city, and my son thinks that too.

 He has begun to practice ice ckating. And im very proud of him, beacause he was about to give up already, but then he went back to the ice and tried again. 

 Next morning we went with our friend to look at the new library Oodi. It has been opened at the December 2018. I have always loved libraries of any size and shape.

It was beautiful, inside and out.  There were an ice sculpture in front of the library. We drank coffee and ate chocolate  in the library cafe.

In the evening we went to the Hartwall Arena and there were Disney On Ice - show, that started half past six. We came early so we waited for some time before we got inside. Before the show, we went around the Arena and Kasmir ate pizza.

Kasmir liked the ice show very much, and i think it was magical. Was deffinately worth coming.  

When the show was over we went to  the grocery shopping to get some evening snack.

 Next morning, at sunday 10.2. we woke up  and ate breakfast, then we went to spend our last day in Helsinki. The weather was very grey and bad all the time on that weekend, but luckily, there wasn`t very cold. 

 I wanted to show Helsinki Cathedral and Senate Square to my son. But he thinks that snow balls and water puddles are much more interesting than church. :D But it became interested and he went to see it closer.  And i take couple of pictures of him. Of course. The statue of Aleksanteri II was more interesting and he wanted me to take pictures of him next to the statue.

Before our train leaves back we went to the Helsinki City Museum and we really enjoyed our time there. There were plenty of different shows. So much to see and do. For example, There were old bar. And there were a school And Kasmir was playing a teacher there but also got to write a booklet and be a student.

Our train leaves after six and before we got there, we went to eat hamburgers and french fries at the train station. Our trip was very nice and we had so much fun. Lot to remember for a long time. :)
